Damien is a Principal at Duffy & Simon and brings to our team a great deal of expertise across a broad range of areas of law.  From large property transactions to the sale and purchase of businesses and the enforcement of intellectual property rights, Damien has a reputation for tirelessly seeking the best outcome for his clients.

 Damien has engaged in a wide range of family law matters including complex property disputes of significant value involving complicated asset structures and assets held overseas. Within the area of litigation, Damien has accrued valuable experience over the years and has prosecuted TAC claims for injured clients and acted for both plaintiffs and defendants in Work cover claims. He has also acted for defendants in criminal law both in the magistrates and country court.

Damien is active within the local community - having recently worked on a pro bono basis in the establishment and creation of the Kylie Blackwood Foundation. He acts for numerous local associations and gives seminars to local organisations on various important legal issues. Damien is involved in a number of local community fund-raising organisations both at general assistance and committee levels.
